Frugal Friday - Soups ON!

Soup. Soup is not very exciting when you think about it. I mean, I can honestly never think of a single time I've actually had a "craving" for soup. My cravings mostly include Pop-tarts and chocolate - never soup. But when recently I decided it was time two drop the two inches of skin/fat left over my pregnancy days last summer (I really miss being able to button my pants!), I also decided it was time to eat more SOUP and less DINNER! Ha-Ha... heh... uhhhh...

What's so frugal and wonderful about soup you ask? Well, condensed soups are only 50 cents a can my friends!! For example, tonight we had tomato soup. 50 cents, two people - that's 25 cents each for hubby and myself to eat, uh, SIP dinner! Granted it's definitely NOT in my top 100 things to eat, but its very low calorie, and extremely cheap. Two things I like a lot! So if your trying to pinch some pennies, add a soup night once or twice a week!

That's about as cheap as you can get! A peanut butter sandwhich would be good with that too!

If only we could have peanut butter sandwiches with our soup I would be in heaven! Heaven!

It certainly doesn't help my waistline, but I always throw in a grilled cheese with my tomato soup. Mmmm! Mmmm! Good!

I like to crumble up lots of crackers in my tomato soup and make it mushy! Yummy!

By the way, this is westernwarmth!

About the Ergo--yes I have one, my very generous sister bought it for me new! I couldn't find any on ebay or anything for much cheaper than the retail price. I do love it! I love that you can put it on your back or front and that the baby is actually right next to you--no fabric layer between (besides clothes). I used to have the button on my blog because I was an affiliate so I would make a commission off anyone who bought one through my button. I lost the html code for it when I changed my blog though :(.
